Overseas Travel Advice
Many organizations send staff abroad, sadly Health and Safety is often forgotten during the planning stages of these trips. SCSL offers a unique service for organizations sending staff overseas. We will develop a country specific briefing before departure and can offer your staff a comprehensive training sesssion before they go. The briefings will be delivered by ex Army personnel with personal, in theatre, experience. Topics included:
- Travel insurance.
- Country specific risk assessment including Foreign Office advice.
- Kidnap and ransom strategies and repatriation.
- Food and water safety.
- Infectious diseases e.g. Malaria, Cholera, Dysentery etc.
- Chemoprophylaxis regimes.
- Venomous animals and insects.
- Dangerous flora and fauna.
